WELCOME
The Swedish Trade Council and the Swedish Embassy in Greece is organizing a gathering to help strengthen economic and commercial ties between Sweden and Greece. Except for information on the latest business opportunities and discussions about the current business climate, the event will also be an exclusive opportunity to network with officials and key representatives from the industries and government officials in Greece.
THE EVENT
The event will be held on June 9th 2011 (half-day event) in Athens Greece as a forum for political leaders and industry experts to discuss the macro- & microeconomic climate and business opportunities in Greece as well as a forum for exchanging experiences within the three themes of:
- Telecommunication
- Healthcare
- Public funding/Energy efficiency
Through participation from various Greek ministries as well as key-note speakers from Sweden, the gathering will promote a dialogue to further increase trade and investment between Greece and Sweden.
The gathering is a key meeting place for government officials and high-level private sector representatives. The participating companies and government officials will also have the chance to have individual meetings with the Swedish Trade Council and Swedish Ambassadors about concrete business projects and opportunities.
THE GOALS OF THE EVENT
- Promote a dialogue between industry representatives, political leaders and other decision-makers
- Enable Swedish businesses to meet decision-makers face-to-face and to enhance the visibility of their business
- Create a forum for discussing both business opportunities in the region as well as the challenges where accretions are needed in order to create a better business environment for the future
- Promote perspective and knowledge on how companies can help the Greek economy
- Maintain and reinforce the strong reputation of Swedish companies in the region
- Highlight Swedish values and consciousness within strategic chosen areas
