The Swedish Trade Council

In January 2006 the Swedish Trade Council opened its new office in Greece. The one and only reason we exist is to make it easier for Swedish companies to grow internationally. We have today about 50 offices around the World. Except for the office in Athens we have recently opened new offices in Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires and in Sao Paolo. This process of opening new offices will continue.
When we work abroad it is very important for us to promote Sweden and Swedish companies. This has an even bigger effect when we cooperate with other organizations that are here to promote and take care of Swedish interests, like the Swedish Embassy and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce. United we are very strong in our efforts to promote Sweden and the result will lead to increased trade between Sweden and Greece.
From the Swedish Trade Councils point of view we believe that the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is in a strong position with its well established membership list and knowledge to contribute to the above mentioned cooperation and continuous development between our countries. This is essential for maintaining and increasing welfare and the level of employment in Sweden and Greece.
