Sweden agreed to help stabilize the euro by pledging to make loans to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to strengthen a eurozone bailout fund.

Automobile's decision to file for bankruptcy on Monday ends two years of efforts to save the loss-making company that began as an aircraft manufacturer and then rolled out cars for 60 years.

On Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, a special meeting was organized by the Board of Directors at the roof garden of Mr. Gregory Mourgelas premises, in honor of the eighteen Sustaining Members of the Chamber. Most of them there have been founding members of the Chamber, they have consistently supported it for almost 20 years and they are still doing it. The aim of this meeting was to bring all the Sustaining Members together in a friendly environment and exchange thoughts and ideas for strengthening its entrepreneurial role upgrade its social contribution and discuss possible synergies.

On Thursday, May 19, 2011 the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce organized its Ordinary General Assembly at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI). The vast majority of the member-companies and other guests as well were present there, while Mr Hakan Malmqvist, the Swedish Ambassador in Athens, honored the event.
